The Erasmus+ project in Antalya, Turkey, was an unforgettable journey of growth, cultural exchange, and shared purpose. Hosted in the vibrant city of Antalya, this project focused on raising awareness about children’s rights and addressing critical societal challenges such as addiction and crime among youth. Through workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities, participants from diverse backgrounds united under a common mission to create a positive chain reaction for future generations.
The program wasn’t just about learning—it was about transformation. Collaborating with peers from Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Romania, I gained new perspectives on how collective action can bring about meaningful change. The activities, enriched by the beautiful Mediterranean setting, encouraged deep discussions, cultural exchange, and personal growth. Beyond the structured sessions, moments spent exploring Antalya’s historic streets and sharing stories over meals helped forge lifelong friendships and a deeper appreciation for our diverse heritages.
This experience highlighted the power of international cooperation under the Erasmus+ framework. Not only did it build my confidence and broaden my horizons, but it also solidified my commitment to contributing to similar initiatives in the future. The bonds formed and lessons learned will undoubtedly inspire all participants to continue advocating for children’s rights and stronger communities in our own countries.

I had an amazing 10-day experience in Turkey that was both educational and unforgettable. During the trip, we explored global issues related to helping children and learned about them through education and creative games and challenges. We also had the opportunity to visit a local school, which gave us deeper insights into the educational system and the lives of students there. Evenings were filled with fun and cultural exchanges, allowing us to learn about and appreciate each other’s traditions and perspectives. A special highlight was a day spent on a boat, where we marveled at the stunning natural beauty of Turkey.
