We are looking for 5 SLOVAK young people for our upcoming youth exchange „RIGHT IS A NEED, LET THE KIDS ENJOY IT!“ in Antalya/ Türkiye.

AGE OF PARTICIPANTS : 16-25 years old
The main reason why we want to implement this project is to take a small step towards changing this chain effect for the better and to raise awareness on this issue. It is also important for children to be aware of their rights and know what to do when they are wronged, but more importantly, it is to educate the individuals responsible for them until they become adults and to make them conscious about this issue. When we say people who are in direct contact with children, we can say that the first ones that come to mind are the
families and teachers of the children, plus the people who are the guides and psychological counselors who monitor the children’s situation in schools. If these people are conscious, necessary measures will be taken in case of a negative orientation for children under their direct supervision. Children who have been abused by their families, subjected to violence, not fed properly due to insufficient economic resources, forced to work, not given the right to education, etc., have a high rate of involvement in crime. According to TUIK data, Antalya ranks higher than the average number of Turkey which is 31.6% in the ranking of children involved
in crime. It may be possible to start working on this issue, to save children from the pit they are in, to give them a new chance by the state, or to direct them to a quality education so that they turn into conscious parents in a life surrounded by conscious parents.
